Where
in the WORLD can my business take me?
Did you ever
wonder about the possibilities of having your very own international
businesses throughout the world? There is a way that you can grow
your business across borders and oceans through what is called
International Sponsoring.
What
in the WORLD is International Sponsoring?
International
Sponsoring provides you an opportunity to successfully grow your
business globally without having to live in, spend long periods
of time in, or even travel to the country(ies) of interest. As
an Independent Business Owner with a Yager/InterNET affiliated
organization, you can connect with the existing resources of established
international businesses throughout the world. International Sponsoring
can increase your potential income, makes your business a true
international operation, and helps your overseas friends obtain
the extra income and personal growth available through building
their businesses.
How
in the WORLD do I International Sponsor?
First, you
have to answer the question, "Who in the world do I know?"
Here, a critical step is to qualify your prospects. Qualifying
your prospects is more than just informing them that you have
an opportunity you would like to tell them about. It's about making
sure that your prospects are really interested in getting involved
in your business.
After you have qualified your prospects, contact
your upline to determine your next step. Your upline will either
personally help you with the process or get you in touch with
a contact who will offer assistance. Ensure that you provide all
the necessary information your contact requires. Information such
as your full name, address, your IBO number, and your telephone
numbers, your upline Platinum's full name and IBO number, and
your prospect's full name, address and telephone numbers is critical
for improving your success rate.
Contact your prospect, preferably
by phone, to let him/her know that someone will be in touch with
them. Do not give your prospect the address of the Amway headquarters
in his/her country, or send them to an Open Meeting. Proper communication
and preparation will help you avoid your prospect unwittingly
being sponsored by someone else.
Follow up with your prospect
regularly. When you are attempting to sponsor someone locally,
you might touch base with them every day or every other day. So
doesn't it make sense that your international prospect needs to
hear from you regularly and frequently? The best way for you to
be in touch with them is by phone, but letters and postcards are
also helpful. Contacting your prospect at least every other week
until they have reached a decision is an effective way to improve
your success rate.
Who
in the WORLD will take care of my newly registered IBO?
If you sponsor
someone internationally, the newly registered IBO will need help
getting started-someone in their home country will need to train,
supply and motivate them. The in-country sponsor, or Foster sponsor
will fill this role. Your new IBO will be "shared" between
you and the foster sponsor. Training and development will be the
responsibility of the Foster Sponsor. As such, all PV will go
to the Foster Sponsor until your new IBO reaches the Platinum
level. When that happens, the International Sponsor and the Foster
Sponsor will split a 4% leadership bonus evenly. While having
an international business might sound glamorous, it also involves
additional time, effort, and expense. Make sure you counsel upline
if you are interested in expanding your business into other countries.
